MARMOFINISH FW FINAL is a cementitious mortar used indoors and outdoors as a top coat on MARMOFINISH FW mortar. It ensures very good mechanical properties, while at the same time giving a high aesthetic effect. Homogeneous, ready-to-mix, industrial product of consistently high quality. Ensures good workability, increased application speed, is economical and provides excellent results.

Composition & Characteristics:

Mixture of high quality white cement and strictly selected particle size and quality of crushed marble enriched with special improving additives.

- Classified according to EN 1504-3:2005 as: (R1-PCC) concrete repair mortar for non-structural repairs.

Although the specifications and instructions set out in this bulletin have been prepared to the best of our skill, knowledge and experience, they should be taken as indicative and require verification after many applications.  Users to whom this product is addressed should verify its suitability for the intended application.  The end user is responsible for any result of the use of the product.

Application:

- The substrate (MARMOFINISH FW) must be dry, clean and cured.

- The contents of the MARMOFINISH FW FINAL bag shall be gradually added to clean water or water in which the desired dye has been previously dissolved (approximately 5,0 l/bag) under continuous stirring using an electric mixer at low speed until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. The mixture is allowed to cure for 5 minutes and then stirred again before application.

- MARMOFINISH FW FINAL is then applied using a smooth trowel and the surface is smoothed, pressed, to prevent the formation of bubbles inside the material. It is important that the trowel runs over the entire surface, pressing on every point.

- In the application phase of MARMOFINISH FW FINAL, pigments can be added to the mixture, which with the appropriate style will create "waters" in various tones on the final surface, giving a unique aesthetic effect.

- After 2-3 days, PROTECTOR SHIELD polyurethane varnish (gloss or matt) final coat is impregnated universally on the surface, giving the final surface water repellency, high mechanical strength, stability and resistance to stains. - Usually, the application of polyurethane varnishes changes the colour of the surface. If this is not desirable it is recommended to apply an intermediate coat of PROTECTOR SHIELD ACRYL.

- On large surfaces care must be taken to provide expansion joints.

- For even better results, please refer to the relevant MARMOLATEX product.

- During the first 24 hours after application and especially in the summer months, it is recommended to wet the surface to avoid possible cracking due to sudden evaporation of water and dehydration of the product.

- During application, extreme climatic conditions such as strong wind, rain, etc. should be avoided. and the temperature should be between +5 oC and +35 oC.

Packaging & Storage:

- In 25 kg bags, on pallets.

- In a dry, frost-free place for 12 months from the date of production, in unopened bags.

Consumption:

Approximately 1,5 kg/m2 for a thickness of 1 mm, depending on the type of substrate.
